Dr. Blaise Ryan
Presently a promoter for parents who want their children to grow up in a more peaceful and caring world. A dad himself, he is the co-writer of The Happy Child Guide and co-founder of the Parent Learning Organization.
Quite a while before he became a medical professional, young Blaise Ryan was raised on a remote country sheep farm in French Quebec. Dr. Ryan spent time learning conventional Thai massage in Northern Thailand and worked with a variety of healers in India. Originally, his intentions were not to become a doctor or healer, but purely to find out about natural medicine.
Dr. Ryan graduated at the peak of his class as the valedictorian speaker, from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences, which is known as the Harvard of Chinese Medical Schools in North America. He now teaches, yoga, advanced Asian massage treatment and acupuncture, as well as conventional Chinese medicine around the world.
After years of investigating, schooling and practicing medicine and health, while being a parent himself, the significant connection between health and child rearing motivated him to co-author The Happy Child Guide.
